Job summary

Delta Sonic is seeking a front-line Delta Technician in Downers Grove to support car wash and detailing operations. You will power-wash vehicles before entry and thoroughly clean interiors, vacuuming seats and surfaces.

You will also sweep, mop, clean restrooms, remove snow, and perform light maintenance while delivering friendly, customer-focused service. The role offers non-benefited status with opportunities to advance and earn performance-based incentives.

Responsibilities:

As a front-line representative of the Delta Sonic Team, Delta Technicians are responsible for power-washing vehicles prior to entering the car wash and thoroughly cleaning the interior of vehicles by vacuuming and wiping down all interior components. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: sweeping, mopping, picking up trash, cleaning restrooms, removing snow, and performing light maintenance. Delta Technicians will also have the ability to earn performance-based incentives and tips upon certification. One of the most important responsibilities for this position is to achieve 100% customer satisfaction by ensuring Delta Sonic's standards for car quality. Delta Technicians can enjoy working in the carwash and/or detail shop, depending on the location's staffing needs. The pay rate for this position is $16.25 per hour. This is a non-benefited position.

Requirements:

• Eagerness to work in a fast-paced, hands-on, and customer-focused position that requires individuals to multi-task
• Excellent communication skills and a love of working with customers
• A detail-oriented mindset
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions, both indoor and outdoor environments, and extreme temperature conditions
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency
• Willingness to adhere to all safety regulations
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation

• A valid driver's license is preferred
