Job summary

Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Delta Machine Operator for the 1st shift in Roseville, MN. You will set up and operate delta machines, produce quality parts per instructions, and track production data. Weekly pay and steady hours are provided.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of machine operation and die cutting experience, plus basic math and computer skills. Ability to lift 50 pounds and read CAD drawings is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of machine operation experience; printing or manufacturing experience preferred.
• At least 1 year of die cutting experience.
• Good computer and math skills.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to read and understand CAD drawings.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime as production needs require.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate delta machines effectively and efficiently.
• Produce quality products according to work instructions, CAD drawings, and product specifications while minimizing waste.
• Collect and document production information, including material lot tracking and production checklists.
• Perform and document daily, weekly, and monthly equipment maintenance.
• Analyze production issues to help maintain high throughput.
• Follow applicable product, equipment, quality, and safety procedures.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and quality-at-the-source practices.
