Job summary

Farmers Home Furniture is seeking a delivery/warehouse associate to load and unload merchandise, deliver to customers, and set up as needed. You will ensure safe vehicle operation and maintain cleanliness of the store/warehouse.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Six months experience in a distribution or warehouse environment.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State Drivers License and know the delivery area.
• Must meet DOT requirements (e.g., Medical Examiners Certification and DOT qualification file).

Responsibilities

• Drives truck in assigned zone to deliver products to customers and assists in directing trucks into unloading areas.
• Loads truck for daily deliveries and unloads merchandise at the customer location.
• Obtains customer signature on receipt for delivery.
• Records deliveries on delivery record and submits to management.
• Maintains and inspects vehicles for safety and records fuel usage.
