Job summary

The Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Clerk to support daily deliveries and warehouse operations. You will provide superior customer service during delivery, document shipments, and help maintain inventory and facility safety. Prior driving and warehouse experience, along with solid communications, are valued.

Role includes loading/unloading, packing, and ensuring accurate documentation; forklift certification is preferred and a valid license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years delivery driver experience.
• 1–3 years warehouse/inventory experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Proficient in basic math.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Professional interaction with customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver general office products to multiple buildings and customers as defined by routes.
• Receive, inspect, verify, label, load and unload merchandise for delivery.
• Obtain Proof of Delivery and ensure legible signatures.
• Assist with warehouse operations and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Operate forklift? (if certified) and ensure vehicle safety.
• Prepare daily delivery logs and documentation for shipments.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized work areas and vehicle.
