Job summary

The Lighthouse for the Blind, Inc. in Seattle, WA is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to receive, store, and distribute items across our warehouse and manufacturing spaces. You will process orders, pick materials, and support shipping and inventory accuracy.

The role requires precise counting, basic math, data entry into ERP/KARDEX, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Forklift certification is preferred and safety standards apply.

Qualifications

• High-school diploma or GED.
• 1 year manufacturing warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Accurate counting and basic math with calculator use.
• Basic data entry and familiarity with computerized inventory systems.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, and distribute items in warehouse and manufacturing areas.
• Ship items per purchase/work/sales orders; pick materials for work orders.
• Load and unload trucks; verify finished goods into inventory.
• Input inventory transactions into ERP or KARDEX.
• Assist in annual inventory counts and maintain organization.
• Operate warehouse equipment and drive company vehicle as needed.
