Job summary

Siston Wholesale Electric Co., Inc. in Olathe, KS is seeking a full-time Receiving and Shipping Associate to manage inbound and outbound merchandise, assist with deliveries, and support stock control.

The role requires reliable forklift awareness, strong customer service, and the ability to prepare orders accurately. Responsibilities include receiving stock, packing orders, maintaining inventory, and supporting the delivery team as needed.

Qualifications

• Post-offer DOT medical exam required.
• State driver’s license and driving record must meet insurance requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and handle returns; prepare shipments and inter-company transfers.
• Prepare and package customer orders per instructions.
• Stock inventory and alert on discrepancies or low stock levels.
• Attend training and department meetings as requested.
• Serve as backup to the delivery driver and counter sales.
