Qualifications

• Prior D.O.T knowledge is required.
• Fleet and personnel management experience is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and route product deliveries.
• Assign appropriate delivery vehicles based on site requirements.
• Maintain loading within standard weight limits for each vehicle.
• Resolve vehicle safety issues by routing to service facilities for repairs.
• Keep customers informed of delivery status.
• Ensure OSHA and federal road procedures are followed.
• Participate in hiring drivers and material handlers and manage performance.
• Coordinate fleet maintenance and ensure repairs are completed properly.
• Schedule new equipment training and ensure certifications are up to date.
• Verify that all drivers' CDL licenses and medical cards are current.
