Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Warehouse/Delivery Associate to support branch operations by delivering and picking up parts, unloading shipments, and stocking inventory. This role blends customer service with hands-on warehousing to ensure accurate orders and timely delivery.

You will load and secure cargo, follow delivery routes, inspect vehicles, maintain cleanliness, and document logs. A valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 60 lbs are preferred; forklift experience is desired.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate.
• 1 year of general warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift certification and 1 year experience operating a forklift is highly desired.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pull and organize customer orders for delivery from warehouse by part number and quantity.
• Provide excellent customer service to all customers, ensuring the order being delivered is correct.
• Load materials into vehicle and install bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Follow company delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency of delivery run.
• Pick up returns and cores, tagging and returning to the branch.
• Determine delivery vehicle condition daily by completing daily inspection/log.
• Maintain a clean vehicle and operate vehicle safely.
• Stock and maintain inventory items in designated warehouse storage areas.
• Package, label and ship customer orders by UPS, US Mail, bus, motor freight and local truck deliveries.
• Move controls to drive forklifts to transport materials between loading, unloading, processing and storage areas.
• Complete forklift operator training annually, provided by the company.
• Check load-related documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Check vehicles before driving to ensure mechanical and safety systems are in good order.
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse by routine upkeep.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or damage immediately.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions following signals from loading crew.
• Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle service status per regulations.
• Inspect stock items for wear or defects and report damage.
