Job summary

Farmers Home Furniture is seeking a delivery and warehouse associate to load and unload trucks and assist with delivering merchandise to customers' homes or businesses.

You will stock shelves, set up displays, perform general maintenance, record deliveries, and help ensure safe vehicle operations and delivery standards.

Jr. high school diploma and six months experience in distribution or warehouse work are required; applicants should be capable of physical tasks and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Jr. High School Diploma is required; six months distribution/warehouse experience or related training.
• Experience in shipping/receiving or delivering merchandise preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload trucks and assist with merchandise delivery to customers.
• Place stock on shelves and set up displays.
• Unload merchandise from warehouse and freight trucks.
• Direct trucks into unloading areas and ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Record deliveries on delivery records and submit to management.
• Assemble merchandise as required and assist with repossessions as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of store/warehouse and uphold delivery standards.
