Job summary

Pomp's Tire Service is seeking a Delivery Warehouse Associate to support warehouse operations and occasional customer deliveries. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and accurate inventory handling, with opportunities to drive for deliveries as needed.

You will operate a forklift, manage stock, and assist with loading/unloading while ensuring vehicles and warehouses stay clean and safe. A valid license and ability to lift up to 100 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and ability to pass pre-employment checks.
• Experience operating a forklift is preferred.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift in line with safety protocols.
• Manage inventory rotation to maintain accurate stock levels.
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments at multiple locations.
• Use a handheld scanner to track inventory accurately.
• Stand in as a delivery driver when needed and ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment.

This dynamic role plays a vital role in both warehouse operations and product deliveries as needed. This position will primarily support our warehouse team, with occasional driving duties to assist with customer deliveries.

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate a forklift in line with company training and safety protocols
• Manage inventory rotation to ensure proper stock levels
• Assist with loading and unloading shipments efficiently at both Pomp's and client site locations
• Use a handheld scanner to accurately track and manage inventory
• Stand in as a delivery driver as needed, ensuring safe and timely product deliveries
• Deliver products in various weather conditions when covering routes, maintaining a clean, well-functioning delivery vehicle during use
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
• Additional tasks as assigned by manager

What You Need:

• Valid Driver's License with ability to pass pre-employment driver's file
• Ability to drive a forklift, experience preferred
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to lift, push, carry, and/or move a maximum of 100 pounds
• Ability to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers
• Ability to read and verify work order information
