Job summary

McLane Co. is hiring a Delivery Van Driver in Plymouth, MI. The role involves operating a non-CDL delivery vehicle to transport food staples and specialty products to customer locations.

The position requires a valid license, clean driving record, and DOT physical, with a shift from 4:00am to 2:30pm on Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri. Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Current driver’s license with clean driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in 3 years; no DWI/DUI in 5 years).
• DOT physical required.
• Ability to lift/move products up to 75 pounds.
• Must read/write English sufficiently for job tasks.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products at customer sites using a dolly or hand truck when needed.
• Document trip data, receipts, delivery exceptions, and vehicle issues.
• Perform warehouse duties when not delivering.
• Work safely to prevent injuries and product damage.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Straight Truck Driver operates a non-CDL delivery vehicle to transport food staples and specialty products to various customer locations. Commercial driving experience is preferred for this position.

What you’ll do as a Delivery Van Driver:

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Delivery Van Driver Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Current driver's license and acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years).
• DOT physical.
• Lift and move product and packages which may weigh up to 75 pounds.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
