Job summary

Bay Converting Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Van Driver for shipping and receiving. Responsibilities include entering orders into D365, setting up shipping, pulling and loading orders, palletizing, and forklift operation.

You will also verify quality and quantity of materials and may serve as backup driver. Requirements include about one year of warehouse experience, one year of driving experience in the last five years, forklift experience a plus, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a production or warehouse environment, preferred.
• One year of verifiable driving experience within the last 5 years operating a box or straight truck.
• A minimum of 6 months experience operating a forklift, a plus.
• Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs.
• Driving Duties: maintain a valid license and an acceptable driving record as per insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Entrer orders into D365 and set up shipping.
• Pull, stage, and load outgoing material orders.
• Prepare materials for third party shipping (palletizing and shrink wrapping).
• Load and unload trucks of products and materials.
• Verify quality and quantity of incoming materials.
• Ensure correct inventory by counting materials accurately.

Description

The Warehouse Associate/Van Driver is responsible for all functions pertaining to shipping and receiving. Other responsibilities will include delivering, verifying, and documenting the quality and quantity of all incoming/outgoing products. The person will also be a backup driver when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Enters orders into D365 as well as set up shipping.
• Pulls, stages, and loads outgoing material orders.
• Prepares materials for third party shipping (palletizing and shrink wrapping).
• Loads and unloads trucks of products and materials.
• Verifies quality and quantity of all incoming materials.
• Ensures correct inventory by verifying material counts for accuracy.
• Operates forklift to move raw materials and products.
• Follows all safety policies and protocols while performing job duties.
• Miscellaneous duties, as required.

Requirements

Qualifications:
