Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Van Driver to operate a non-CDL delivery vehicle and serve customer locations with reliability and safety in mind. A commercial driving background is preferred, and candidates must be at least 21 years old with a valid license and clean driving record.

This role involves loading/unloading, documenting trip data, and warehouse tasks when not delivering. McLane offers competitive pay, benefits after 60 days, and paid time off from day one plus a 401(k)

• Lift and move products up to 75 pounds.
• DOT physical required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products at customer sites using a dolly or hand truck when needed.
• Document trip data, receipts, delivery exceptions, and vehicle issues.
• Perform warehouse-related duties when not making deliveries.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Box Truck Driver operates a non-CDL delivery vehicle to transport food staples and specialty products to various customer locations. Commercial driving experience is preferred for this position.

• Pay rate: $25.75 per hour.
• Schedule: 1st Shift; Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 7:00am start time.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Delivery Van Driver Teammate:

• At least 21 years of age.
• Current driver's license and acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years).
• DOT physical.
• Lift and move product and packages which may weigh up to 75 pounds.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
