Job summary

Brown Foodservice, Inc. is seeking a Delivery Coordinator to plan and direct transportation services for our Louisa, KY location. You will join a team with a long history delivering fine foods since 1942, supporting operations across Kentucky, West Virginia and Ohio.

The role emphasizes driver supervision, onboarding, safety compliance, and process improvements. Candidates should have a CDL Class-A with doubles endorsement, 3 years driving or training experience, and strong communication to keep

Qualifications

Must know, adhere to, and enforce DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Knowledge of customer service principles and quality standards.
Ability to use a computer, smartphone, business software, and new applications/proprietary software.
Ability to perform repetitive lifting of 50 lbs.
Ability to operate a pallet jack, electric walkie, and/or forklift.
Be able to stand, walk, sit, climb, reach, bend, squat, and stoop to accomplish the essential job functions.

Responsibilities

Coordinate transportation operations to ensure on-time delivery across KY, WV, and Ohio.
Monitor driver performance and conduct 30/60/90 day evaluations.
Develop and implement new delivery processes and procedures.
Schedule and conduct ride-alongs and driver trainings.
Investigate accidents and support route optimization.
Maintain daily communication with the organization and ensure morale.
