The position involves training new employees to obtain Class A/B CDL, managing inventory, and delivering excellent customer service while maintaining accurate accounts and using basic email/computer tools.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle in compliance with all safety requirements and policies.
• Thoroughly train new employees to run their route with minimal follow-up.
• Assist trainees to obtain a Class A or Class B CDL.
• Supervise drivers to ensure safety, efficiency and quality.
• Cover routes when drivers are on vacation.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and daily vehicle maintenance checklists.
• Verify inventory counts during deliveries.
• Service customer accounts professionally.
• Maintain back-stock and rotate stock across accounts.
• Obtain forklift and riding pallet jack certification and understand product picking processes.
