Job summary

Accendra Health is hiring a Delivery Technician to deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment in patient homes. You will educate patients on equipment use and ensure safe operation while providing high-quality customer service.

The Richmond branch offers a small, supportive team, clear on-call expectations, and a stable schedule with on-call rotation. No prior experience is required; a valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are needed.

Responsibilities

  • Safely lift, carry and maneuver equipment weighing up to 50 lbs as part of daily deliveries and setups.
  • Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies inside patient homes.
  • Provide clear, compassionate, professional instruction on equipment use.
  • Load and unload equipment from the delivery vehicle.
  • Respond to emergency delivery requests when needed.
  • Complete delivery logs, pickup forms and vehicle documentation accurately.
  • Maintain supply components in patient profiles.
  • Assist with equipment cleaning and minor repairs.
  • Perform routine vehicle checks and report issues.
