Job summary

Accendra Health is hiring a Delivery Technician to safely deliver, set up, and pick up durable medical equipment in patient homes. You will educate patients on equipment use, provide high-quality service, and maintain accurate delivery logs while supporting a small, hands-on team in Duncan, SC.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old, a valid driver’s license, and completion of our Driver Training Program; English proficiency is essential.

Qualifications

  • Lift, carry and maneuver equipment up to 50 lbs in daily deliveries.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • 21+ years old and valid driver’s license required; driving record considered.
  • Completion of Apria’s Driver Training Program; English reading/writing/speaking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver, set up, and pick up DME and supplies in patient homes.
  • Educate patients on equipment use and safe operation; provide high-quality service.
  • Load/unload equipment from delivery vehicle and perform routine vehicle checks.
  • Complete delivery logs, pickup forms, and vehicle documentation accurately.
  • Maintain patient profiles with equipment and supplies; assist with cleaning and minor repairs.
  • Respond to emergency delivery requests as needed; other duties as assigned.
