Job summary

Lucedale Medical Supply is seeking a Delivery Driver- Patient Service Technician in Mississippi to join our growing durable medical equipment team. This full-time role includes regular hours and on-call duties, with responsibilities delivering and setting up equipment in patients' homes.

You will educate patients on equipment use, maintain gear, complete delivery documentation, and ensure safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Background check and drug screen when applicable.
• Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record.
• Healthcare facility credentialing process compliance when applicable.
• Experience with medical equipment preferred.
• One year of related work experience preferred.
• Medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive local routes to deliver and set up medical equipment at patients' homes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of respiratory and home medical equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure safety and proper function.
• Complete delivery documentation and patient visit reports accurately and on time.
• Keep your assigned company vehicle clean, safe, and ready for service.
• Respond to urgent equipment needs and participate in on-call rotations.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position: Delivery Driver- Patient Service Technician

Position Summary:

• Full-time
• Regular hours plus on call hours

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, required
• Background check (company-wide). Results will not be used automatically to disqualify individuals. Instead, the Company will conduct an individualized assessment that considers the duties of the position, the nature and timing of the offense, and any evidence of rehabilitation, in accordance with applicable laws.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Available for on-call assignments as needed (after business hours, weekends &/or holidays)

Physical Demands:

• Lift and carry office equipment at times
• Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking and listening
• Requires close vision to small print on computer and/or tablet and paperwork
• Requires lifting (minimum of 65 pounds) and transporting of patient equipment
• Requires contact with patients and equipment with potential exposure to contagious pathogens
• Requires driving a company vehicle for deliveries
