Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Delivery Assistant to support drivers, load and unload products, and interact with customers while ensuring safety procedures are followed. This role does not entail operating company or rental vehicles, and will involve coordination with the distribution center team.

Responsibilities include assisting with loading, verifying orders, and providing excellent customer service during deliveries, with occasional warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Assists delivery drivers with loading and off-loading product.
• Interacts with customers, provides proof of delivery, and resolves basic customer service issues.
• Inspects deliveries prior to load for accuracy and damage.
• Relays escalated customer concerns to distribution center leadership.
• Performs general warehouse duties as needed.
