Qualifications

• Must be able to read maps and follow oral and written instructions.
• Heavy lifting required; may carry heavy merchandise up stairs.
• Must maintain appearance by following Ashley's dress code.
• Able to work Tuesday through Saturday.
• Able to safely move up to 50 lbs with assistance and sustain heavy activity.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical inspection of product to identify damaged goods prior to delivery.
• Assist the driver in compiling all necessary paperwork in delivering goods to customer.
• Perform touch up and repair as needed on products.
• Prepare and load delivery trucks safely.
• Communicates and documents customer concerns to Distribution Center Support.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the distribution center area.
• Unload and safely place products in customer’s home.
• Continual heavy lifting throughout the day and assistance when required.
• Take care of all customers through direct action or indirectly by assisting others.
• Work with other employees to attain company goals.
• Report violations of company policies and the misappropriation of company assets.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
