Job summary

Ashley Furniture Industries is hiring delivery drivers to safely operate a 26ft box truck, delivering and installing furniture in customers' homes. You will set up furniture, remove old items when needed, and uphold exceptional service during delivery, setup, and cleanup.

Must have a valid driver's license, DOT medical card, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The role requires 21+ years old and availability Tuesday through Saturday, with prior 26-foot box truck experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and up-to-date DOT medical card.
• Safe driving record and ability to read maps.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and move heavy items.
• 21+ years old and available Tue-Sat.
• Experience driving a 26-foot box truck preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load products onto trucks for deliveries.
• Deliver and install furniture in customers' homes.
• Provide excellent service during deliveries, setup, and clean-up.
• Maximize quality and efficiency scores to improve customer satisfaction.
• Load/unload and handle materials safely.
• Communicate with customers about issues.
• Document returns and notify supervisors.
• Complete reports and paperwork timely.
• Assist with warehouse tasks including lift truck operation.
• Follow safe work practices and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
