HD Supply Management, LLC is seeking a delivery assistant to support drivers, assist with loading/unloading, and ensure accurate customer orders are fulfilled. You will interact with customers, maintain safety procedures, and contribute to efficient deliveries.

This role does not involve operating company or rental vehicles and includes general warehouse duties. A HS Diploma or GED and 0-2 years of related experience are preferred.

Formación

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred; 0-2 years of experience.
• Experience operating material handling equipment for 1+ year.
• Delivery assistant experience in similar industry.

Responsabilidades

• Works with delivery drivers to ensure the safe, accurate, and efficient delivery of customer orders.
• Inspects deliveries prior to load to ensure customer orders are accurate and free of damage.
• Assists with loading and unloading merchandise using powered and non-powered material handling equipment.
• Makes customer calls before and during delivery.
• Interfaces with customers regarding orders, including providing proof of delivery and resolving basic customer service issues.
• Relays escalated customer concerns to distribution center leadership.
• Provides exceptional customer service by being polite and professional during deliveries.
• Performs general warehouse duties as needed.
• Follows safety procedures during all delivery activities.
