Johnson Brothers, a leading beverage distributor in Indiana, seeks a Delivery Operations Supervisor for the Indianapolis location. You will coordinate delivery routing, oversee driver performance, and ensure timely, accurate product delivery to customers.

Responsibilities include hiring and training drivers, coordinating schedules, managing routing efficiency with RoadNet, and collaborating with sales, warehouse, and customer service teams to maintain outstanding service levels.

Qualifications

• 2 year associate degree required.
• 3+ years of delivery operations experience.
• Familiar with Warehouse Management Systems and bar code scanning technology.
• Proficient with RoadNet delivery routing software.
• Familiar with GPS tracking software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and internet applications.
• AS400 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and manage assigned delivery driver personnel.
• Manage delivery drivers in customer service, accuracy and productivity.
• Oversee driver scheduling to ensure timely delivery of product.
• Coordinate safety activities for Delivery staff.
• Oversee routing efficiency and use routing software.
• Interface with customers to resolve discrepancies and build relationships.
• Collaborate with sales, warehouse, delivery and customer service teams.

Job Description

Operating since 1987, Johnson Brothers of Indiana is one of the state’s largest distributors. The company began its operations in Michigan City and Fort Wayne as Indiana Wholesale Wine & Liquor. Today, our more than 200 team members provide our portfolio of world-class wines and spirits to retail stores, iconic restaurants, and world-class hotels throughout the Hoosier State.

This position has primary responsibility for coordinating delivery operations including routing, delivering and backhauling activities for our Indianapolis location.

Pay

$70-$80k annual compensation, DOE

Job Duties

• Work Schedule: 10am to 8:30pm, Tuesday through Friday.
• Hire, train and manage assigned delivery driver personnel
• Manage delivery drivers in all aspects including customer service, accuracy and productivity
• Oversee driver scheduling to ensure timely delivery of product
• Coordinate all safety activities for Delivery staff
• Manage the efficiency of the delivery routes using routing software
• Interface with customers solving discrepancies, problems and creating a cohesive relationship
• Foster and maintain a collaborative relationship with the sales, warehouse, delivery and customer service departments.

Job Requirements

• 2 year associates degree
• 3+ years of experience in delivery operations
