Job Description

The Delivery Specialist maintains and operates store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and handling customer returns.

Essential Job Functions

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products safely and efficiently.
2. Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform vehicle inspections.
3. Maintain vehicles in clean, good condition, and complete daily inspections.
4. Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and collected monies.
5. Handle customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
6. Communicate customer issues to management.
7. Report vehicle maintenance needs or damages immediately.
8. Ensure vehicles are fueled and secured at the end of shifts.
9. Adhere to clock-in/out policies.
10. Perform additional duties such as customer service, stocking, merchandising, errands, and assisting customers as needed.

Skills and Qualifications
