Deliver parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and distribution centers in a safe and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Drive the company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or the distribution center. Must have a valid state driver's license and meet company driving requirements. Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on the route, delivering to the appropriate store.
2. Maintain a daily city route manifest for deliveries.
3. Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure. Be familiar with accident report procedures.
4. Ensure each store verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest. Make deliveries according to schedule and report any delays to the supervisor or stores on the route.
5. Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations. Communicate any issues or special needs from stores to management.
6. Clock in/out according to company policy.
7. Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission, etc.) and log mileage before operating the vehicle each day.
8. Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately. Ensure the fuel tank is filled, and the vehicle is locked and secured at the end of the day. Drive safely and defensively.

Required:

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the company's standards (14/18-point record system).

Desired:

• Fluency in multiple languages, with Spanish highly preferred.
