Job description

Job Title: Delivery Driver

Deliver parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and distribution centers in a safe and efficient manner.

Note: Bilingual candidates, especially Spanish speakers, are encouraged to apply.

Essential Job Functions

1. Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution centers. Must have a valid state driver's license and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
2. Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on the route, delivering to the appropriate store.
3. Maintain daily city route manifest for deliveries.
4. Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure. Be familiar with accident report guidelines.
5. Ensure all invoices are verified and signed by designated store personnel. Make deliveries according to schedule and report any delays.
6. Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations. Communicate any issues to store management.
7. Perform pre-operation vehicle checks (fluid levels, mileage) and log details daily.
8. Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately. Ensure the vehicle is fueled, locked, and secured at the end of each day. Drive safely and defensively.
9. Follow company policy for clocking in/out.

Required:

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company standards (14/18-point record system).

Desired:

• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
