Deliver parts and/or products to O’Reilly stores and distribution centers in a safe and efficient manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Drive company vehicle to deliver parts and products to stores and/or distribution centers. Must have a valid state driver’s license and meet company driving eligibility requirements. Pick up and sign for stock transfers at each stop on the route, delivering to the appropriate store.
2. Maintain a daily city route manifest for deliveries.
3. Keep fleet/fuel card, vehicle, and keys secure. Be familiar with accident report guidelines.
4. Ensure that each store verifies all invoices and signs the route manifest. Deliver according to schedule, reporting any delays to the city delivery supervisor or remaining stores on the route.
5. Maintain a professional and personable image to foster good customer relations. Communicate any issues or special needs from stores to management.
6. Clock in/out following company policy.
7. Check fluid levels (oil, radiator, transmission) and log mileage before operating the vehicle each day.
8. Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately. Ensure the fuel tank is filled, and the vehicle is locked and secured at the end of the day. Drive safely and defensively.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES

Required:

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standards set in the company's 14/18-point record system.

Desired:

• Fluency in multiple languages, with Spanish highly preferred.
