Job summary

SRS Building Products is seeking a Non-CDL Driver to safely deliver building materials to job sites while adhering to safety protocols and ensuring accurate orders. The role includes vehicle inspections, inventory verification, and professional customer interactions.

Ideal candidates will have a valid non-CDL license, pass DOT screenings, and be comfortable using forklifts. Local travel and opportunities to support warehouse operations are included.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old (18 minimum for employment).
• Valid non-CDL driver's license with a clean record (no DUIs in 3 years, no suspensions in 5 years, max 2 violations/accidents in 18 months).
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify required).
• Screenings: Must pass a drug test, background check, and hold a current DOT medical card (for vehicles 10,001 lbs+).

Responsibilities

• Deliver building materials safely and on time, following safety protocols and routes.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs.
• Verify inventory and assist with loading/unloading to prevent damage.
• Safely operate forklifts for loading/unloading when needed.
• Interact professionally with customers on-site and address inquiries.
• Maintain communication with managers to resolve logistics challenges and ensure smooth operations.
