O’Reilly Auto Parts seeks a delivery driver to operate company vehicles, deliver parts to customers, and complete daily vehicle inspections. You will use handheld devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and manage mileage, while keeping equipment secure.

The role emphasizes safe driving, customer service, and flexibility to assist with merchandising and other duties as needed. Fluency in Spanish is a plus; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company’s 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete daily inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and inspect daily before operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies at all times.
• Pickup customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store manager promptly.
• Ensure fuel tank is full and lock/secure vehicle at day end.
• Clock in/out per company policy.
• Perform additional duties such as customer service, stocking, merchandising, and errands as needed.
• Assist customers as needed, serve as cashier, or help with merchandising when business requires.
