Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles delivering parts to professional customers, collect COD payments, and handle returns. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and maintaining vehicle readiness.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged; experience with fleet devices and strong communication are valued. Adherence to driving policies applies, with occasional cashier or merchandising support as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license.
• Bilingual abilities encouraged (Spanish preferred).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform vehicle inspections.
• Keep vehicles, keys, fuel cards, handheld devices, and monies secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate customer needs or problems to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or accidents to the store manager immediately.
• Clock in/out per policy and perform other duties as assigned, including stocking and merchandising.
• Assist customers as needed, including cashier duties when required.
