Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and collect COD payments. You will perform daily vehicle inspections, keep vehicles and equipment secure, and assist with customer service, stocking, and returns as needed.

A valid state driver’s license and clean driving record are required; willingness to adapt to changing routes and languages (Spanish a plus) is preferred; this role offers competitive wages, benefits, and

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company’s 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver’s license and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
• Familiar with automotive parts is a plus.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment is a plus.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and inspect daily before operation.
• Keep delivery vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies secure at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out return slips.
• Communicate issues or special needs from customers to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel is topped off and vehicles are secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy.
• Assist with other duties including customer service, stocking, merchandising, and errands.
• May assist customers or act as cashier when needed.
