O’Reilly Auto Parts is hiring a delivery driver in New York. You will operate company vehicles to deliver parts to customers, process deliveries with handheld devices, and complete daily vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities include securing assets, handling returns, communicating issues to management, and clocking in/out per policy. The role involves assisting customers as needed and contributing to stocking and merchandising efforts.

• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monetary collections at all times.
• Pickup customer returns (new, warranty, cores) and complete return slips.
• Communicate customer problems or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager.
• Clock in and out according to company policy; perform additional duties as assigned.
• Assist customers, act as cashier, and help with merchandising when needed.

Compensation

Pay Range: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums that may be paid per hour under specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean and maintained; complete daily vehicle inspections before operating.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and monetary collections at all times.
• Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and complete the driver return slip.
• Communicate any customer problems or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or vehicle damage to the store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at the end of the business day.
• Clock in and out according to company policy.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, etc.
• Occasionally assist customers, serve as a cashier, and/or help with merchandising tasks (e.g., phones, sales, and service) when business demands.
