Join to apply for the Delivery Specialist role at O'Reilly Auto Parts.

The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This position will also collect money on C.O.D. deliveries and pick up customer returns.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
2. Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete vehicle inspections.
3. Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and ensure daily inspections are completed.
4. Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, handheld devices, and collected monies at all times.
5. Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
6. Communicate any customer issues or needs to store management.
7. Report vehicle maintenance needs or damages immediately.
8. Ensure the fuel tank is filled and the vehicle is locked and secured at day's end.
9. Clock in/out according to company policy.
10. Perform additional duties such as customer service, stocking, merchandising, errands, and handling core returns.
11. Assist customers, serve as cashier, and support merchandising as needed.

Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities:

1. Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
2. Strong interpersonal communication skills.
3. Ability to adapt to changing delivery situations.
4. Driving record must meet company standards.
5. Valid state driver’s license and driving eligibility.

Desired Qualifications:

1. Familiarity with automotive parts.
2. Ability to operate light store equipment.
3. Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
