Join to apply for the Delivery Specialist role at O'Reilly Auto Parts

The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This position will also collect money on C.O.D. deliveries and pick up customer returns.

Essential Job Functions

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
2. Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete vehicle inspections.
3. Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and complete daily inspections.
4. Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and collected monies at all times.
5. Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips.
6. Communicate customer issues or needs to store management.
7. Report vehicle issues or damages immediately.
8. Ensure fuel tanks are filled and vehicles are locked and secured at day’s end.
9. Clock in/out according to company policy.
10. Perform additional duties such as customer service, stocking, merchandising, errands, and handling returns as needed.
11. Assist customers, operate as cashier, or support merchandising when required.

Skills, Education, and Experience

1. Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
2. Strong interpersonal communication skills.
3. Adaptability to changing delivery situations.
4. Driving record must meet company standards.
5. Possess a valid state driver’s license and meet driving eligibility requirements.

Desired Qualifications

3. Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
