The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities include collecting money on C.O.D. deliveries and picking up customer returns.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products safely and efficiently.
2. Use delivery fleet management devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and complete vehicle inspections.
3. Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and conduct daily inspections.
4. Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and collected monies.
5. Pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips.
6. Communicate customer issues to management.
7. Report vehicle issues immediately.
8. Ensure vehicle is fueled and secured at day’s end.
9. Follow clock-in/out policies.
10. Perform additional duties such as customer service, stocking, merchandising, and errands as assigned.
11. Assist customers, serve as cashier, or help with merchandising when needed.

Skills, Education, and Experience Required:

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Adaptability to changing delivery situations.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record meeting company standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate store equipment.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish.
