Job summary

ABC Supply Interiors seeks a results-driven Dispatch Coordinator to manage customer orders, schedule deliveries and prepare delivery routes. You will collaborate with sales and customers to ensure satisfaction and coordinate with warehouse personnel to meet on-time delivery goals.

Based in Indianapolis, you will monitor delivery equipment for safety, ensure weight compliance, assign appropriate vehicles, resolve safety issues and keep customers informed of delivery status throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate deliveries with sales team and customers.
• Work closely with warehouse personnel to ensure on-time delivery.
• Manage delivery equipment to ensure safe operations and compliance with DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Make sure trucks fall within standard weight limits for each vehicle.
• Assess job site delivery requirements and assign appropriate delivery vehicles.
• Resolve vehicle safety issues.
• Keep customers informed of delivery status.
