Job summary

ABC Supply Interiors in Indiana is seeking a dependable Helper/Stocker to support our branch deliveries. You will assist with moving materials from the warehouse to delivery sites, verify quantities, and ensure products are neat and presentable while upholding safety standards.

The role involves loading and unloading, operating a forklift after training, and helping deliver materials such as drywall and ceiling tiles.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building material products is preferred.
• Ability to unload, transport and position building materials as required.
• Follow all safe methods of transporting material from the delivery vehicle via stairs, elevators and booms.
• Be trained and licensed/certified to operate forklift equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of materials to customers or jobsites and unloading/loading at jobsites.
• Move materials safely from warehouse to delivery location and ensure correct placement per order tickets.
• Verify quantity and type of materials transported to/from the delivery site.
• Keep delivered product neatly placed and presentable and clean up debris before leaving the site.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently after training.
• Maintain safety by following all applicable rules and procedures.
• Assist in staging materials such as drywall, steel studs, insulation, ceiling tile and grid as assigned.
