Job summary

You will learn the current bid route, assist with route paperwork, and follow safety procedures outlined by the company. CDL-A permit is required, and prior food distribution experience is preferred.

The role emphasizes early training, physical readiness, and teamwork to ensure accurate deliveries and safe operations across customer locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must read and write in English.
• CDL-A permit required.
• Previous food distribution/handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver in unloading of product at customer locations per invoices and methods.
• Develops and establishes good relationships with customers by providing courteous service.
• Learn route on current bid and assist with route paperwork.
• Work safely by following SYGMA’s Preferred Work Methods and assist with delivery setup.
• Attend CDL School when scheduled.
