Job summary

Sysco is a global leader in foodservice distribution. This role assists the driver by unloading orders at customer sites, handling paperwork, and supporting safe, efficient deliveries.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to read and write in English, and hold a valid driver’s license; a CDL-A permit is required. Lifting, pallet jack operation, and learning routes are part of the job.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and write clearly and communicate in English.
• Prior food distribution experience preferred.
• CDL-A permit is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver in unloading product at customer locations.
• Develops and maintains good customer relationships through courteous service.
• Learn route on current bid and assist with route paperwork.
• Follow SYGMA delivery procedures and safety methods.
• Attend CDL school when scheduled; perform other duties as assigned.
