Job summary

Viking Electric in Milwaukee is seeking a Delivery Router to optimize routes, manage daily delivery activity, and support warehouse operations to maintain high customer service standards.

The role requires 2+ years in warehouse, transportation, or logistics, solid problem-solving and communication skills, and basic computer/WMS familiarity. A High School diploma is required; post-secondary studies in Business or Logistics are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in Business, Logistics, or Distribution preferred.
• 2+ years in warehouse, transportation, or logistics.

Responsibilities

• Optimize daily delivery routes by analyzing order volume and territory coverage.
• Monitor delivery activity throughout the day and adjust routes or resources as needed.
• Coordinate with drivers and operations to ensure on-time delivery performance.
• Support sales teams with special delivery requests.
• Assist warehouse team with picking, checking, and loading trucks.
• Track and manage weekly/monthly mileage reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve routing efficiency and overall operations.
