Job summary

AVI Foodsystems in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a friendly, hard-working Delivery Route Driver to join our team. This full-time role involves loading routes, delivering fresh products to client locations, and maintaining clear communication with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Load company vehicle with all products needed to service locations.
• Drive to client locations to transport products and food.
• Ensure refrigeration of all perishable items in the truck.
• Deliver products to vending attendants at client locations.
• Collect paperwork from vending attendants at client locations.
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise.
• Maintain professional communication with customers and team members.

HEADQUARTERS SERVICE CENTER

AVI Foodsystems is looking for a friendly and hard-working team member to fill the role of Delivery Route Driver.

This is a full-time position in Grand Rapids, MI. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 1st shift.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure company vehicle is properly loaded with all product needed to service locations
• Drive vehicle to transport products and food to client locations
• Ensure the refrigeration of all cold food products in truck
• Deliver products and food to vending attendants at client locations
• Collect products and paperwork from vending attendants at client locations
• Discard unsold and stale merchandise
• Communicate positively with fellow team members and customers by making eye contact and smiling
• Manage the care of the company vehicle

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Valid driver’s license (a CDL is NOT required) and a good driving record
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Outgoing personality with the skills to promote products
• Excellent organization and time management skills
