Columbia Distributing in Tumwater, WA seeks a Delivery Relief Driver with CDL Class A to serve local accounts. You will unload, deliver, and check in products, providing top-notch customer service while adhering to DOT and state liquor laws.

This full-time role requires 21+ and a valid CDL, with competitive hourly pay as posted. You will balance invoices, help maintain relationships with customers, and operate safely with the team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) required.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and current certifications.
• Six months CDL driving experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unloading, loading, and checking-in products at customer accounts on a relief basis
• Balancing invoices, verifying payments, and ensuring applicable paperwork is received
• Work or rotate delivered product when necessary
• Uphold sustainable relationships with customer accounts by providing outstanding consistent customer service
• Adhere to and follow all Company policies, procedures and government regulations including all DOT & state liquor laws and regulations
• Complete Driver assigned duties delivering Company's products in a safe, timely and professional manner
• Inspects the vehicle pre- and post-trip to monitor the maintenance and safety of the vehicle
• Work with all team members on a continual basis to support and evaluate company initiatives
• Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of the Company's Core Values at all times
• Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned

Delivery Relief Driver - CDL Class A

$29.00 - $32.00/hr

1. CDL Relief Delivery Drivers play a critical role in the day-to-day operations, while interacting with customers, Sales Representatives, and Merchandisers daily to meet the expectations of the business. They are responsible for delivering, unloading and checking in the product to customers each day. Our Drivers are the face of the Company and must provide top notch customer service.

Physical Demands

• Use of hand truck, pallet jack, and lift gate
• Lift/carry and push/pull 35 lbs. repetitively, moving kegs up to 165 lbs.

• Must be able to drive and operate a vehicle

Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, days and hours of work vary and may include overtime. This position does not have any overnight or long-haul travel/hours.
