Job summary

Nourishing Hope in Chicago is seeking a Home Delivery Program Coordinator to support our food distribution programs, including In‑Person Markets, Home Delivery, and Online Market models. The role involves neighbor and volunteer engagement, operations and logistics, data tracking and reporting, and food safety and sanitation to ensure a dignified and efficient experience.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in social services or food distribution environments.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a van.
• Ability to obtain food service sanitation certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports SOP adherence for food distribution and safety.
• Frontline contact for neighbors with clear information and empathy.
• Trains and supervises volunteers and staff; acts as manager on duty when needed.
• Inputs and tracks neighbor data; prepares required reports and KPIs.
• Maintains relationships with external partners and inventory controls.
