Job summary

APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, seeks a Trucking Foreperson to direct and coordinate deliveries of aggregates and asphalt, ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost control. This salaried role may include occasional equipment operation and labor as needed.

The position supervises drivers and subcontractors, conducts daily safety briefings, and collaborates with dispatch to optimize schedules and budgets. A high school diploma and 3+ years in transportation operations are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years in transportation operations preferred.
• Experience coordinating drivers and sub-haulers.
• Strong regulatory and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate delivery of aggregates and asphalt.
• Maintain DOT driver files and regulatory compliance.
• Supervise company drivers and subcontracted haulers; liaise with dispatchers.
• Lead daily safety briefings and review trip inspections.
• Monitor costs, budgets, and productivity; ensure on-time deliveries.
