APAC Mississippi, Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a Trucking Foreperson to direct and coordinate delivery activities for aggregates and asphalt. This salaried role may require occasional equipment operation and labor.

The person will lead safety briefings, manage DOT files, supervise drivers and subcontractors, and work with management to set schedules and cost controls. Strong knowledge of transportation operations and regulatory requirements is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years in transportation operations preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and safety protocols.
• Experience supervising drivers and coordinating contractors.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate delivery of aggregates and asphalt.
• Ensure safety compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Maintain DOT driver files and device inventory.
• Lead daily safety briefings with driver teams.
• Review pre/post trip inspection reports and productivity data.
• Coordinate with dispatcher for daily demand and scheduling.
• Manage cost controls and budget adherence.
• Maintain a professional appearance and relationships with customers and subcontractors.
