Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Delivery Operations Leader to direct and coordinate the distribution center's delivery activities in Houston. You will supervise drivers, optimize routes, ensure hazmat/DOT compliance, and oversee fleet maintenance to drive efficiency.

You will coach and develop drivers, manage safety programs, and ensure records are properly kept, with travel and overnight stays kept to a minimum as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in delivery or logistics management.
• BS/BA in a related discipline preferred.
• Knowledge of hazmat, DOT, and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and train the delivery driver team.
• Ensure safety, hazmat and DOT compliance.
• Manage routes for cost-efficient delivery operations.
• Oversee routine vehicle inspections and record-keeping.
• Coach drivers and accompany routes for evaluation.
