Job summary

Gypsum Management and Supply is seeking an assistant dispatcher to coordinate ordering and delivery of materials alongside the Dispatcher/Operations Manager. You will help maintain warehousing and distribution operations and ensure customer service meets standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of dispatching experience, strong communication, and the ability to work independently and in teams. This on-site role emphasizes safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• GED required; some college preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of dispatching experience.
• Demonstrates integrity and servant leadership in a non-management role.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; establish relationships across departments.
• Self-management, initiative, and proactive problem solving.
• Professional written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate ordering and delivery of materials with the Dispatcher/Operations Manager.
• Maintain receiving, warehousing and distribution operations and enforce procedures.
• Schedule and assign delivery staff; monitor work results.
• Coordinate with personnel to ensure high-quality customer service.
• Ensure compliance with safety, loss control and regulatory requirements.
• Support risk management investigations to reduce losses.
