Job summary

QXO, a Florida-based leading distributor and installer of building products, seeks a full-time team member to safely unload materials, assist with delivery operations, and support rooftop/shingle loading.

You will work Monday–Friday, 6am until work is done, with potential overtime and weekends based on business needs; forklift experience and Spanish bilingual skills are a plus. Benefits include 401(k), health insurance, PTO, and training.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation to reach branch locations.
• Able to follow safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Physically demanding outdoor work with lifting.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload building products and shingles from conveyor/roof area.
• Verify orders before loading onto delivery trucks.

What You’ll Do

Shift and Schedule

• Full-Time Position
• Monday–Friday.
• 6am until work is done, around 4:30pm
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate OT and/or weekends based on business needs.
• Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from conveyor boom from first or second story rooftop
• In certain instances where rooftop delivery is not feasible, the roof loader will provide support to the driver by assisting with ground drop operations at the designated job site
• Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck
• Assist with delivery operations
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere diligently to all safety protocols, while always wearing appropriate PPE
