Job summary

TwinStream is seeking a Delivery Manager to operate across both project and programme delivery, blending agile, flow-based practices with coordination of multiple workstreams and stakeholders. You will help ensure predictable, well-governed software delivery aligned to programme objectives, while zooming out to see the bigger picture.

You will work with Technical Leads and engineers to maintain delivery flow, manage risks, and support cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate delivery across multiple related projects or workstreams to align with programme goals.
• Maintain high-level progress, risks, dependencies and resource needs across the programme.
• Support roadmap shaping and programme-level planning with Technical Leads and stakeholders.
• Facilitate alignment discussions on priorities, architecture, and sequencing decisions.
• Lead delivery using Kanban and flow-based agile practices across one or more teams.
• Maintain visibility of WIP, blockers, throughput and priorities.
• Help teams balance feature delivery, tech debt and spikes.
• Promote continuous flow and smooth transitions between delivery stages.
• Provide concise reporting for sponsors and senior leadership.
• Track progress against objectives and commitments across workstreams.
• Capture decisions, risks, issues and actions in a lightweight, traceable way.
• Contribute to maturing TwinStream delivery governance to remain agile and value-driven.
• Coordinate cross-team and cross-vendor dependencies with clarity.
• Use RAID to maintain visibility and mitigation actions.
• Help teams resolve blockers spanning technical or organisational boundaries.
• Act as central coordination point for engineering and stakeholders.
• Communicate delivery updates tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Align expectations on timelines, scope and risks.
• Support pre-sales, estimation and contract discussions as needed.
• Contribute to improving delivery framework, tools and documentation.
• Help establish scalable delivery patterns for more complex programmes.
• Promote transparency and psychological safety.

About the role

TwinStream is seeking a Delivery Manager who can operate confidently across both project and programme-level delivery. This role blends agile, flow-based delivery practices with the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, align stakeholders, manage complex risks, and maintain visibility across broader initiatives.

You’ll work closely with Technical Leads, engineers, and senior stakeholders to ensure that software delivery is predictable, well-governed (lightly), and aligned to programme objectives. This role is ideal for someone who can zoom out to see the bigger picture while still helping teams maintain a healthy delivery flow.

Responsibilities

Programme-Level Coordination & Planning

• Coordinate delivery across multiple related projects or workstreams to ensure alignment with programme goals.
• Maintain a clear, high-level view of progress, risks, dependencies, and resource needs across the programme.
• Support roadmap shaping and programme-level planning with Technical Leads and product/strategy stakeholders.
• Facilitate alignment discussions across teams to clarify priorities, architectural considerations, and sequencing decisions.

Agile Delivery Management

• Lead delivery activities using Kanban and flow-based agile practices across one or more teams.
• Maintain visibility of work-in-progress, blockers, throughput, and upcoming priorities.
• Support teams in balancing feature delivery, technical debt, architectural improvements, and research/activity spikes.
• Encourage continuous flow, reducing bottlenecks and ensuring smooth transitions between stages of delivery.

Lightweight Governance & Reporting

• Provide structured but concise reporting suitable for programme sponsors and senior leadership.
• Track progress againstobjectives, milestones, and commitments across multiple workstreams.
• Capture key decisions, risks, issues, and actions in a lightweight but traceable way.
• Help define and matureTwinStream’sdelivery governance model — ensuring itremainsagile and value-driven.
• Identifyand manage programme-level risks, ensuring they are surfaced early and escalated appropriately.
• Coordinate cross-team and cross-vendor dependencies with clarity and urgency.
• Use a pragmatic, simple RAID process tomaintainvisibility and drive mitigation actions.
• Support teams in resolving blockers that span across technical or organisational boundaries.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Engagement

• Act as the central coordination point for engineering, Technical Leads, internal stakeholders, and (when relevant) customers.
• Communicate delivery updates with clarity, tailored to the audience — technical or non-technical.
• Align expectations around timelines, scope, assumptions, and emerging risks.
• Support commercial teams during pre-sales, estimation, and contract/change discussions as needed.

Continuous Improvement & Ways of Working

• Contribute to improvingTwinStream’sdelivery framework, tools, and documentation.
