Job summary

Bridgepoint Consulting is seeking a Delivery Manager in Denver to lead multiple client engagements within the Financial Operations practice. You will oversee delivery teams and ensure outcomes align with client and firm objectives.

You will drive performance, mentor consultants, and contribute to business development while overseeing budgets and resource planning. CPA or equivalent certification is preferred; 7+ years in accounting/finance and strong client relationships are valued.

  • Be a billable resource on projects as required.
  • Coordinate with PMO to ensure engagement processes and standards.
  • Serve as first point of escalation on all projects and consultants.

The Delivery Manager is a role on the Delivery career path and is a leadership role within the Financial Operations practice. The role supports the growth of the practice through ensuring delivery of successful client engagements, consultant management and development, and business development activities.

The Delivery Manager is intended to provide oversight and leadership to multiple client engagements as well as multiple delivery team members in order to ensure client success, manage challenges and obstacles, and keep the client and Bridgepoint aligned on our mutually agreed upon outcomes. This role is for those in the field who have demonstrated the ability to deliver successfully on multiple projects and consultants, and desire career growth within the Bridgepoint organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Demonstrated skills and abilities to manage the practice's most challenging clients and projects as an individual contributor and a team/engagement lead.
  • Ability to deliver successful projects/solutions, resolve issues, negotiate and build trusting relationships with clients.
  • Assists with business development initiatives
  • Ability to identify additional resource needs, manage budgets, people and initiatives.
  • Facilitates the exchange of ideas and opportunities in and out of their practice area.
  • Endeavors to improve performance through innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Recognized internally and externally as a leader in their field.

Responsibilities will include the above as well as:

Client & Engagement Management
  • Manage a portfolio of client engagements, serving as the engagement lead to ensure client and consultant success in executing the scope of work.
    • Revenue of projects under management are expected to be $2M-$3M on an annual basis
  • Be a billable resource on projects as required and as the situation allows.
  • Work with the PMO function within Financial Operations to ensure the engagement management processes and standards are being adhered to.
  • Serve as first point of escalation on all projects & consultants assigned.
  • Lead at least one strategic initiative each year for the local practice.

Estimated percentage of time: 70%

Business Development
  • Participate in networking events and other activities to develop your personal network of client contracts, and referral partners.
  • Participate on new business opportunities including meeting with prospects, defining the scope & resources as well as writing Statements of Work and Proposals.
  • Uncover new opportunities through expansion of current projects assigned. Expected revenue from the expansion of existing projects is >$500,000
  • Achieve targeted revenue goal that was agreed upon with practice leadership.

Estimated percentage of time: 10%

Consultant Management & Development
  • Manage and support consultant(s) assigned to engagement under management.
  • Provide real-time feedback to consultants to ensure their success and engagement
  • Begin to manage/direct up to 6‑10 direct reports, including goal setting and career pathing.
  • Assist in consultant interviewing process.
  • Embrace a continuous learning mindset and leads various training and development initiative

Estimated percentage of time 20%

The mix of responsibilities will fluctuate from time to time and will vary depending on the maturity of each market.

This is a full time, salaried position that will have some level of utilization (billable hours), based upon market and an agreed‑upon target with the Principal, and or Director within that market. This position is also eligible for a quarterly bonus based on personal objectives and market performance.

Compensation & Benefits

Specific compensation plans will vary depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the office location, role, KPI's, skill set and level of experience.

  • Base salary for this position ranges from $140,00-$160,000 USD
  • Annual bonus up to 30% (paid quarterly)
